Alabama Forestry Commission (ALC) investigators on February 23 arrested Christopher James Snell, 29, of Coy, Ala., charging him with 13 counts of “selling timber without permission.” Snell, a resident of Wilcox County, allegedly took timber valued at $21,000 from two different victims. If convicted, he could be sentenced to jail for up to one year and/or fined up to $6,000 on each count.
