John Deere Releases Interactive Forestry Game
In conjunction with the Tracked Harvester Intelligent Boom Control (IBC) launch this earlier summer, John Deere created an interactive AR game that shows the simplicity of how it works. The game allows you to simulate operating a tracked harvester with and without IBC, showcasing first-hand how the technology is easy and intuitive for today’s operator, while providing a fun and competitive experience.
Similar to playing a video game, the John Deere Intelligent Boom Control technology is all in the joystick. One joystick moves the boom tip horizontally, while a second guides it vertically, for faster cycle times and more precise control. No matter where you’re located, at home or in the cab, the game allows anyone and everyone to experience this revolutionary technology in action. The game is available for iOS and Android devices.
